Endgame is the host of Vital Radio, a weekly program that features the best electronic musicians from all across the world. Featuring brilliant exclusive mixes and engaging one-on-one interviews from the world’s top jocks, Vital Radio connects Toronto’s elite with the music they crave.
Beyond his Radio Hosting talents, Endgame spins a unique blend of funky, tech and vocal house, bringing high energy and passion to every one of his live performances.
Riding the trance boom of the late 90s and early in the new millennium, Endgame became addicted to everything electronic. He picked up his DJ skills on the Technics, and with trance on the mind, he made appearances inside such venues as Toronto’s Republik nightclub, The Docks, Sutra Tiki Lounge, Ku Lounge, Chelsea Room, The Vault, and The Purple Room (Inside Revoluton Nightclub) in Waterloo.
After some musical introspection and the fine tuning of his musical preferences, Endgame redefined his sound and discovered his true calling: Sexy, Soulful, Funky House music.
In 2008, along with Aren DeJong, M2J and David Akermanis, Endgame pioneered the Vital Radio experience, a premium radio program bringing together the best music and biggest guests from all across the globe.
The house music scene opened up a wold of opportunities, as Endgame and The Vital Radio Crew found residencies in Yorkville and King West – Rocking the likes of Libra Lounge, Y Not Lounge, Kool Lounge, Calisto, Li’ly Lounge and many others.
In 2011 Endgame teamed up with fellow Dj David Akermanis to form the duo: Speedboats and Big Explosions. Their first single ‘Hazel Eyes’, laced with the vocals of Marcie, was picked up by System Recordings in New York. With the first track under their belt, the duo has been keeping busy both in the studio and on the decks.
Their first appearance as the mustached crime fighting team (also known as ‘Juan Sanchez’ and ‘The Bullet’) was at the Purple Room in Waterloo. They proved that experience counts as they rocked the dancefloor. Since then, ‘Speedboats and Big Explosions’ have appeared all over Toronto, playing their brand of funky, tech house and are always “Fighting Crime in Funky Times.”
SBBE have just finished their first EP “Strange Justice ” featuring the tracks “Trouble Woman ” , “Menagerie” and the title track “Strange Justice ” which is slated for release on System Recordings. You can follow the shenanigans of SBBE on Twitter, Facebook and Online.
The duo combines classic house vibes with the latest house sounds to give you a delicious Martini of funk, tech and soul, shaken but not stirred.
